Your role

As a Market Development Representative (MDR) at Gorilla, you'll play a pivotal role in spearheading market development initiatives in your assigned region. Unlike traditional roles, this position combines the best of marketing and business development, allowing you to have a direct impact on revenue generation and market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Driven Market Expansion
  • Identify high-potential market segments and leverage insights to create targeted strategies for revenue growth inside your market.
  • Drive targeted outreach efforts to convert prospects into qualified leads and generate revenue. This includes a blend of strategic marketing campaigns and direct sales efforts.

  • Market Research and Insights
  • Conduct comprehensive desk research to deeply understand the target market, audience pain points, and emerging trends in your market.
  • Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences to stay updated on market dynamics and establish a strong network.

  • Knowledge Transfer and Collaboration
  • Act as a crucial bridge between the product, marketing, and sales teams, ensuring that valuable market insights are integrated into product development and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to identify and shape campaigns, content, and events that resonate with potential clients, driving engagement and sales.

  • Relationship Cultivation
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key prospects, understanding their pain points and positioning Gorilla's solutions as indispensable.

Requirements

  • You have experience working with enterprise accounts and strategic business development;
  • You have an apt for understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential solutions;
  • You are curious, and not afraid to ask questions to find out more about a topic or person;
  • You are very interested in the energy transition and the challenges it brings;
  • You like to take ownership;
  • You are as good of a listener, as you are a communicator;
  • You’re ambitious with a contagious drive;
  • You love a start-up environment;
  • You are a native German speaker and your English is impeccable.
