Your role
As a Revenue-driven Marketing Team Lead at Gorilla, you will be instrumental in propelling our growth trajectory. You'll lead a dynamic marketing team, orchestrating strategies and campaigns designed to elevate brand visibility, acquire high-value customers, and directly impact revenue generation. Your role is pivotal in strengthening our position as a leader in vertical data applications.
Your responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor and coach a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support in achieving individual and collective goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with Gorilla's growth objectives, focusing on demand generation, lead nurturing, customer retention and advocacy.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategies.
- External Communication: Represent Gorilla internally and externally, including public speaking engagements, podcasts, webinars, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Sales and Product teams to align marketing efforts with revenue targets and product launches.
Guide dedicated team members to ensure top notch:
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, informing product positioning and marketing strategies.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with target audience interests and behaviors.
- Content Strategy: Drive content development, ensuring it resonates with our audience and establishes Gorilla as a thought leader in the industry.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a B2B SaaS marketing leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Golden combination of creative knack and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling and collaboration skills.
- A keen understanding of both marketing and sales processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems.
- Native or business level skilled English.
- Energy sector experience is a plus.
- Infectious enthusiasm, especially when motivating others to get things done.
