Your role

You help Gorilla expand its clientele in the deregulated and investor owned utility market across North America.

You develop and implement an effective sales strategy according to company goals and objectives, aiming to accelerate growth. Focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction, you analyse the market and detect the right opportunities and leads. You target a clear client-segmentation, in which you identify new commercial opportunities and open the doors to get in. To generate business, you approach new markets and clients, as well as using existing and potential customer networks.

To acquire a new customer, you collaborate with your colleagues to represent Gorilla in the best possible way in every situation.  Together, you analyse client needs to tailor our product and applications to client requirements. Additionally, you build long-term trusted relationships with clients by responding to their queries in a timely manner. You deliver an excellent customer experience.

In short, you get the deals done; making sure contracts are signed and sealed, so our team can deliver!

Your responsibilities

Requirements

  • You have strong commercial experience and a network within the utility market
  • As a digital native you’re passionate about business efficiency and innovation
  • Experience within enterprise software / IT sales a must, with SaaS a big plus
  • The commercial beast within you combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach
  • You’re ambitious with a contagious drive
  • You love a scale-up environment
  • Exposure to virtual account team selling environment is desirable
  • You are a self starter with the ability to keep going, but still look for support from within the organisation to get the deal in
  • Your English is impeccable
