Keynote: Digitalising Energy — Building the Data Foundations for profitable B2B Innovation

Tuesday 24 June 2025 - 10 am CT / 4 pm BST / 5 pm CEST

The next phase of the energy transition will not be delivered by hardware and physical assets alone. It will also depend on the digital infrastructure that allows organisations to discover, trust, and share data across the system. Much as Open Banking created the conditions for new financial products and platforms, energy sector digitalisation is creating the foundations for a new generation of B2B propositions. This keynote looks at how shared data infrastructure, interoperability, and ecosystem design can enable profitable energy tech models, accelerate collaboration, and support a more flexible, customer-focused and net zero energy system.

Panel session: Lessons from the front line — why margin visibility projects fail (and what you can do to avoid it)

Wednesday, April 2nd - 10am CT / 4pm GMT / 5pm CET

Most energy retailers recognise the need for better margin visibility. Yet many initiatives stall, run over budget, or fail to deliver on their promise. In this panel discussion, practitioners who have led commercial programmes share what actually went wrong, from misaligned stakeholder expectations to data foundation gaps to the politics of cross-functional change. More importantly, they share what they would do differently. This is an honest conversation about the messy reality of transformation, designed to help attendees sidestep the most common pitfalls and build programmes that stick.Looking for proven strategies to help you respond faster to market changes and stay ahead of competitors?Join us we break down what really works when it comes to the integrations that are powering today’s pricing strategies for modern energy retailers.

Workshop: Improving Margin Visibility Across the Commercial Value Chain

Tuesday 24 June 2025 - 10 am CT / 4 pm BST / 5 pm CEST

In B2B energy, margin is rarely determined by a single decision. It is shaped over time through a chain of commercial, operational, and customer decisions spanning pricing, risk, sales, forecasting, operations, and settlement. For many suppliers, the margin originally priced is not the margin ultimately realised. Assumptions change, ownership shifts between teams, customer behaviour evolves, and commercial outcomes can drift across the lifecycle of a contract. As the market becomes more complex, suppliers are increasingly asking where margin is actually won, lost and owned, and whether current operating models provide enough visibility and accountability across the value chain. This workshop will explore where key commercial decisions are made across the organisation, how assumptions and incentives can become misaligned over time, and what leading approaches look like for improving visibility, ownership and commercial performance across the customer lifecycle.
