Your role

As a project manager at Gorilla, you are responsible for the integration of the Gorilla product and the development of bespoke data engineering solutions at our clients across the globe.

You are well-versed in project management tactics, keep information flowing seamlessly, and are able to win stakeholders’ respect. You work together with your squad; a solution architect, a subject matter expert and a data engineer, to deliver the best possible service.

With your careful planning and consistent follow-up, you manage the project delivery from a to z. You lead your team towards success by leading and motivating internal & client stakeholders through the process of project delivery. Your job starts by capturing project requirements, defining milestones and agreeing on an approach to deliver our solution. From start to finish your effort and clear communication lead to consistent delivery of agreed deliverables.

The project manager is the face of our company. By valuing service, transparency and adequately delivering on what is promised you strive to achieve the highest customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

  • You lead an implementation squad of engineers, a solution architect and a subject matter expert in the delivery of Gorilla and client solutions.
  • You are responsible for aligning all project stakeholders on the project plan and do everything it takes to make a project work.
  • You are the bridge between technology, engineering and the utility experts. With your people skills and knowledge on the project, you manage to motivate and drive people towards delivery.
  • You are a teamplayer, success is achieved when your team and the client are happy.

Requirements

  • You have at least 5 years of proven experience in IT project delivery.
  • You have experience in running multi stakeholder projects.
  • You have a strong affinity with business and technology.
  • You can adapt and switch to get the job done.
  • You bring harmony and structure, even when things don’t go as planned.
  • You have a winning mentality – you go the extra mile.
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • You have an outgoing, engaging personality.You speak and write English fluently and are open to travel once a month.
  • You’re a people person, just as much as a tech person. You can swap your tech hat for your client hat effortlessly.
  • You have the mental flexibility to dive deep into details of the project to ensure quality, while still understanding the big picture.
  • Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector is a major asset.
