In B2B energy, margin is rarely determined by a single decision. It is shaped over time through a chain of commercial, operational, and customer decisions spanning pricing, risk, sales, forecasting, operations, and settlement.
For many suppliers, the margin originally priced is not the margin ultimately realised.
Assumptions change, ownership shifts between teams, customer behaviour evolves, and commercial outcomes can drift across the lifecycle of a contract.
As the market becomes more complex, suppliers are increasingly asking where margin is actually won, lost and owned, and whether current operating models provide enough visibility and accountability across the value chain.
This workshop will explore where key commercial decisions are made across the organisation, how assumptions and incentives can become misaligned over time, and what leading approaches look like for improving visibility, ownership and commercial performance across the customer lifecycle.
